2003 Blobeye STI PPP – another which exhaust thread!
I've got a 2003 Blobeye STI with PPP but I'm wanting to get some more noise from it. Perhaps an extra 30-40% or so but still be OK for track. Having the PPP it already has the Prodrive sports cat, non-res centre and Prodrive rear silencer. Sounds good, but I'd like a bit more without it being deafening or droning.
I think initially I just want to change the back box, and my shortlist is Scoobyworld RaceBox, Hayward & Scott or one of the Cobra boxes (race/road/track) with a rolled tip as I'm not keen on the huge slash cut tips.
Ideally need some sort of exhaust noise table that goes up with the levels of noise for every exhaust on the market Any experience of how my shortlist will compare to the current Prodrive system? Thanks in advance!

My favourite on 2 wrx with remap so around 300 was the milltek back box.
I tried prodrive, scoobyworld ninja 2,scorpion which I think is prodrive anyway.
milltek was pretty droneless but was great on idle and acceleration.
ninja 2 was an absolute animal for noise and it is a great noise but just to much in my opinion.

Cobra do a track friendly decat, got a nice bark to it but not mega loud and not droney. I've had a classic fitment and new age and found them both pretty much the same sound wise.

Given that I'm in no rush I might see what back boxes I can get second hand on the cheap to try. What I don't want to do is spend £300-400 on a new system and for it not to be what I'm after.
