Default Anyone serviced a 2ltr NA impreza

Any mechanics out there or members that have serviced a 2ltr NA ? I am doing a cambelt change and had a few questions regarding the cooling system..

I've always serviced my turbos but the NA has a slightly different layout i.e no header tank so wondering on the correct procedure for do the coolant as will have to drop it to do the belt change...

Lastly with the water pump, I've ordered the gasket via icp but wondering do people also use a sealant also ?? Or will I be fine with just the gasket...

Cheers

Haha, it's even simpler then really as there are even less places to get air locks,
slowly fill at rad cap, key is not too much water at a time so the air can escape, start the car and run until the fans kick in twice, and you should be fine.

I get what ur saying Same as turbo with the heaters on full hot ? I take it I leave the rad cap off wait for fans to kick in and top up rad... would that be correct... sorry if this seems a dumb question all I no is turbo Imprezas this no turbo business is not what I’m use to

Just pour very slow as to avoid air lock.
