i mentioned this and posted an old link to an opie oils guy saying avoid it.
the owner or sales person got pretty miffed and tryed to sue i think.

wen i mentioned this the synionic guy wasnt happy.
says they had some sort of agreement not to slate their oil or some claims they made about it.
couldnt find out much else about it.

Hmm would this be the same company with the American adverts running engines without oil and putting cement in them?
Not a fan of those type of ad campaigns.
Guessing oil is on par with the likes of Triple QX etc; which does the job. 10w-50 is an odd grade in this day and age; Like 10w-60 it will be relying on viscosity improvers to maintain its hot viscosity, the longevity of this is always questionable depending what is used. Although not a usually problem if you change it every 6months/6k.
Mainstream manufacturer specification approvals on the small print (as in "approved", NOT to be confused with "Conforms" or "meets") is usually a good indicator of overall quality, especially the longlife specs like VAG's 507.00 or BMW's LL04.

i dont think the oil will ruin ur engine
just didnt like hostility when i pointed things like this out.
Too much smoke and mirrors.
Plus it sounded to me like they took oilman to court or made threats as they now say they are not allowed to give their opinion on it
