Default starter motor help

Good evening all,

i had a starter motor motor fitted to my scooby type ra, 1997 a few days ago purchased from a reputable supplier. But it sounds like a bag of nailed dragged across your garage floor and just wondered if anyone else had had this issue. Just sounds as though the teeth in the starter motor aren’t meshing properly with the teeth in the flywheel.

by the way I’m not interested in naming the supplier etc that’s not what this is about so no names will be posted - just interested in the info.

thanks,

tom

Starter ring must be knackered or you've a faulty starter.
