Im thinking of doing the same to my hawk, two nationwide places swing to mind, Rust.co.uk or a Dinitrol treatment centre, not sure what either are like tho, by the look of their website Dinitrol has places in Tamworth and Leicester but not sure about where rust.co.uk have units

Prices start at 275-300 quid depending on how much prep work is needed to the underbody, but they need to see your car first for a quick check over to price up the work correctly, if you search for Dinitrol treatment centres online it gives you all the work and processes they carry out

Worth every penny cheers for the info Ted it’s pretty mint underneath so shouldn’t need much prep work just want to keep it that way. It’s a 3rd car only comes out in the dry on occasion.

If you have a garage then I would be tempted to do it in there, take your time and clean it all down well, then add your preferred sealant, you know its done properly that way.

Yeah fella best try and keep it as mint as possible hey, you will have to let me know how you get on if you have it done and post up some before and after pics, one of my concerns was them making sure it was properly dry underneath before applying the fresh underseal and also making a neat job of it and not end up covering calipers/exhaust etc in the underseal.

I’ve decided to wait until the warmer months are here before getting it treated underneath again I think it’s the wrong time of year. Took the beast for a blast last sunday in the sunshine to Blackpool to give it a good run after being dry stored man I love driving this car looks nice on the sea front.

it's best to get the underside sorted before winter rather than warmer months. They don't salt the road in the warmer months, they do in winter (current climate)

It's best if you show us your Mrs' underside, and let us be the judge of which is the best treated 😉

If you are serious , and feel your underseal is less than 100%, don't take it to a damp coastal road that is saturated in sea salt and regularly gritted
