Default Hazard switches

Are the hazard switches common for giving up on the classics mine doesn't work at all

No. You sure it's not the indicator relay?

My indicators work but if I press the hazard switch they stop working

Had a quick look out side under the dash and I carnt see anything that looks like a hazard relay by that description.I took a quick picture of what I can see if anyone could help us out.Also in the other pic I can see what looks like some sort of relay with a large black rubber cover over over it does anyone know what this is
