Question

I appreciate this may not be the place to ask but it's difficult to know where to place the question....so...

I have a couple of STi's in at the mo and due to previous owners powerwashing etc....the red paint has flaked in various degrees/area's on the manifolds...

Any idea's peeps ???

Thanks in advance

Maybe you could try some caliper paint from halford for around £20.
It goes on pretty thick but leaves a hard glossy finish and its heat resistant.

I think its powder coated from Subarus suppliers, try heat resistant enamel, but you will have to do the whole thing as you will never match whats on it now!
"WHISPER"(Halfords)......had loads in last time I was in there, different colours to blues, reds, greens.

Smoothrite mite be better, its a brighter finish. And it will stay on better than most paints. Caliper paint is a RIP OFF. Smoothrite works great for that too, if you are into painting them cheesy colours.

Once You have the answer you could set up a small business doing it! - mines in the same condition and a few thousand others no doubt!
