Default Zen Performance

My jdm legacy wagon was mapped at Zen last week and I'd just like to say they have transformed the car.
I'd really recommend them to anyone thinking about a map or getting some work done. Very knowledgeable and helpful, plus proper car enthusiasts so great to have a chat with. Most importantly they take their time and do quality work.

have they moved from their old place at Wellingborough to Earith, St Ives and does Ren do the mapping now? Just lost track of them since they worked on my car which must be 5years now.

Yes and yes. They are properly out in the sticks now.

mainly by phone, which is 07917821520. Also by email: ren@Zenperformance.co.uk

He is basically a one man outfit so it can be difficult to get hold of him. If he's out mapping then he won't be answering the phone. And his receptionist appears to be a very friendly red setter.

Does he have a rolling road setup, or is it road-mapping only?

Do you know if he does other work too or is it just mapping? I'm due a cam-belt soon and they're only just down the road from me.

Road mapping only. The only 4wd RR I know in the area is here:

http://www.revivals59.com/

Zen seemed to mainly working on big power builds and significant modification work, but I think they'll do maintenance as well.
For a cam-belt (or any other mechanical work) I'd highly recommend Tim Farmer who covers this area. He'll do everything from general servicing to big power race engines.
He's on Facebook (search subbus). And you can also get him on 07880661866. Funnily enough I bumped into him at Zen.

I was intending to ask Tim Farmer to do it in the new year. He changed my clutch a couple of years ago. It's nice to know there are other options locally though, especially for mapping/mods. :-)

I'd like to get a group together for a day at revivals rolling road. They have previously said they'd open on a Saturday if enough people were interested.
NB. Revivals are also pretty good for mods, although they are not subaru specialist, they do have their own race team. Their receptionist is a very handy driver!

that sounds interesting, just a point, it's good to have graphs to take away which sometimes can be overlooked.
