Default Handbrake and changing pads

Is the handbrake on a blob STi connected to the disks or an internal rotor? I need to change my pads but my driveway has a slope. I was wondering if I can change the pads on the drive (switching tyres around has always been fine) or if I need to find somewhere else.

HI
The handbrake is a drum in the centre of the disc , so you can leave the handbrake on , and change the pads , obviously you couldn't do it if you wanted to change the discs as well.
Cheers Ian

Ah, that's good to know. Can you PM me a good price on a set of Pagid RS29 rears for an 05 Blob STi?
