Mellow Yellow wanted to show off his new toy and get some pads fitted to the toy, so i obliged on both counts.
So we have two WRX STi5 TypeRA V-Limited's side by side. Mine is bog standard except for the wheels, Mellows is the rather tasty ex Scott Davies slightly non standard version.
Spot the diferences.
(it was dark and raining, hence the poo quality)

Very nice, both of them. They look awesome side by side. Quite a few mods on Mellow's one. It must fly.
I noticed the Wax Wizard's Wax doing it's job, with the water beads on the car too. Is it the Samurai Wax?
Cheers,
Wrexy.

hope that tube isnt as close to the battery as it looks... not that it really matters as the hose would insulate it, but even so.

Many thanks for your help and advice John, your'e a true gent
How could I have ever thought I could have been happy with anything else other than a Scoob ....never
I have to say though....that to all the peeps who like to do a comparison on P1's vrsus STi V's etc..... that having owned an STi 6....then a highly modded P1 standing me at almost £45k....and now Scott's highly modded STi Type RA V Ltd..... I just wished I'd got to this first...it'd saved me loadsa money and grief and is twice what my P1 ever was ..... and thats before any suspension/roll cage mods
Going to SIDC @ Donno...and then I'll join John and various for the 2 or 3 trips a year to the Ring and that's my lot....
What a car...I still can't stop drooling....

Mine is staying pretty standard. I may put AP 4 pots on the front. I am having the powerstation bump steer mod, ALK and geometry setup this weekend just to improve the handling, i think thats about all i will do.
The engine is staying standard, it's got enough poke for my needs, i am more interested in the brakes and handling of the car as that's far more important.

Mellow,
Enjoy m8 - it's a fantastic car (I know because I've driven it loads and I came within a few minutes of buying it myself). It just won't be the same strolling down the road for a beer and not seeing it parked outside Scott's house
Sad to see it go but I know you're gonna love it!!!!!! I'm almost as attatched to it as Scott (sad isn't it? ). Look after her mate
Matt
P.S. You really should have bought those track wheels, they looked great on it...

I really wanted this car as Scott lives just round the corner I have drooled at it quite a few times!
Could I get an insurance quote for less than £2500?
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Phil
PS. Looking forward to seeing the next project Scott
