I've seen these go for anything between £12,000 and £20,000. With a bottom end failure I suppose you're looking at a rebuild which would cost between £3,000-4,000. Still seems cheap to me. It's on fb mate on a for sale section.

A 20 grand car would need to be a quarter of the mileage of this one.
If the engine's the only thing wrong then you're looking at around £12k fully fixed so I'd say it's around the money @the price.
