sadly no tracker fitted. took it out last year when insurance said it would not give me a discount for having it. hindsight is a wonderful thing.

it was taken from inside the locked garage and mine was the only car taken. there is cctv footage. it was stolen Tuesday night at 12:00. they took garage tools as well in my boot. police forensics have been but no actual police have turned up as yet. not even to look at the footage.

Thanks again guys. I'm really hoping it will be found to. Don't really care what state it's in . Because it can always be fixed. And all the parts would fit in to anther shell. I have spent such a lot of dosh on it . Like I'm sure all of you have on your cars.

Hello guys, I have some good news. My car was found in Swindon. Parked up nice in a lane.. I have not seen it as yet, but police say it looks ok inside and out. They also said it looks like it’s been ragged around a field or something. Only hope the engine is still intact. I hill climb it. So it’s used to a bit of that. It’s running 450bhp on full boost. I guess they had some fun. Let’s hope there is no damage underneath. it will be so good to be getting my T25 back. Any body recommend a tracker system. I need to put one back on it.

Parts 2-3 months from Subaru??? I ordered the fuel pipe retaining clip for the feed pipe to the tank. An item that could only come from Japan and that took less than 3 weeks.
Glad to hear your car was found, hope it only requires the locks sorting.

I hill climb and sprint in the west country mainly. at wiscombe park, Castle hill, clay pigeon race way, for a bit of fun and testing.. Charmouth hill climb. just pick and choose as I go along...
RCM said the parts would have to be made?

So glad you got your baby back mate...
When i had a Scooby it came with an ingenious gearbox lock..I think it was called a "T-Bar"..It ran from the passenger footwell. You pressed it into the transmission tunnel and it prevented the gearstick from moving or even being removed.
I used to keep the key separate from the car keys..Great bit of kit..

That's a good result, unusual that the thieves went to the extent of stealing the car to just leave it parked up. A thief with respect..... sounds wrong doesn't it!
Glad your getting it back.
Agree with the comments ref the lead time on the locks and keys etc, that's quite a wait. I assume this is because they will be mirroring the current settings for the immobiliser/ECU etc?
As for tracker, I cant help as I don't have one, but if I was to get one I would be asking a specialist insurance company which they recommend. Maybe have a word with Gary at Keith Michaels insurance, and while at it get a insurance quote from him too, he's always been excellent for me!
Robert.

Glad you got your car back!
My dad had something similar in his Audi A6 Avant (biturbo one), where someone incidentally in a subaru followed him home, threatened him for the keys and as my dad chucked them into a bush and walked away from the house, they went for the keys rather than him! Phew!
Anyway, they took the car north (from Manchester) and ended up using it in a bank robbery. Got the car back none the worse for wear, but charged for the privilege!
Must have used it for it's load carrying and then changed cars.
