Default SPARE WHEEL ADVICE

Hi guys had a bit of a nightmare last week had a flat tyre on the front space saver doesn't fit because of the large 6pot calipers so I thought no probs just stick the back on the front & space saver on the back. Back doesn't fit the front so basically I'm screwed. Luckily it's my second car & it's kept garaged so i just took it off & got it sorted but if i was away in the scoobie & had a flat on the front I'd be screwed!
What should I do guys get a spacer made or what.

By the way it's an 07 sti a line jdm very rare with prodrive alloys

I'd get a spare alloy. Or make sure the space saver used is the same size as alloys or can cause problems with diff. I just threw my spare wheel as upgraded to 17" so no use. Will get Rac tow me home or I have one of those inflation cans.

Yeah I think I'll get one of those inflation cans at least then I've got a chance if I get a flat on the back I can chuck the space saver on front use the can.

What size are your alloys on the car and what size were the originals?

Get one the same size, doesn't have to be identical, but get nearest, same offset etc, and put same tyre on it.

The bore in the centre of the wheel is smaller on the back than the front so the back wheel doesn't fit over the hub on the front. I know WEIRD MAN I was in disbelief couldn't believe it but it definitely doesn't fit never come across this before & this is me 4th impreza. I wanted to swap the wheels round to even the tyre wear (that's if I ever wear them out doesn't come out much lol)

Yes I think that's the best thing to do alcazar I'll see what I can find on ebay. Not sure if it will fit in the boot thou under the carpet.
