Default Stuck with front ARB droplinks

Folks,

Anyone got any tips about changing front ARB droplinks? I can't undo the nuts to remove them - they're seized up. All that happens is the bolt rotates with the nut.

Is it okay to drive the car with clonking as a result of knackered droplinks? It's pretty noisy and I can feel it through the pedals and footwell too.

Thanks.

If they are standard OEM then the thread has a hex cut in the end of it to take an allen key

Just grip it at the back with mole grips, i.e the bit where the rubber gaiter is, use the allen bit in the end if the threads are not too rusted or just grind them off with a 3" cut off tool or grinder.

Thanks for the info. I think the hex cut is too corroded (original links I suspect), but I'll have another go. The rear links seem to have spanner slot by the gaitor so you can stop the bolt rotating when undoing the nut. Strange not the front ones.

Grind the nuts off. That's what I did with my shagged original ones.
