Hi does anyone know how I go about getting another key for my jdm blob sti

Available from any key shop like timpsons as they jdm keys don't have chips in buy the key they cut it for you aswell happy days
Or go for the sti jdm item available from icp and then find a shop to cut it for you

Ok thanks so just buy one them jdm keys then get it cut , is there any way of getting a fob on it like the original

You might have problems with shops saying they can't cut your key so do your research on that one

A fob? Jdm keys don't have chips unless yours has ,you might need a DIFFRENT one
Give icp a shout they are really helpfull etc

Mines got the lock and unlock buttons has yours not then

Mine has an aftermarket alarm fob installed that locks and unlocks the car etc which was put in when the car entered uk


Is yours a frech import?
Does it have an alarm fitted?

Yer I was first uk owner it did have a alarm fitted but was taken out, so they would not of come with a fob then ?

maybe you need an alarm installing first from a certified installer which will control your central locking and immobilise it then get the key sorted

Looks like your 03 came with the optional Keyless entry.







If you google the part number a couple of UK places say they can supply.....

AFAIK you register the keys by connectng the single pole white connectors behind the drivers kick panel. ( the same as UK cars before Sigma single button keys and different to the US keyless system)

Some JDM Subaru cars do. My import BP Legacy does.
