chunk missing from bonnet scoop

Just found out why that stone I thought I heard hitting the windscreen didn't appear to break it, cos it hit the corner of my bonnet scoop and removed a chunk of it!
Looks like dealers are aftet £150 + painting, anyone else do 'em?
If search was working I'd be looking for breakers yards.
