Default Hatch back ebay downpipes

I'm in the market for a decat downpipe, i currently have a hayward & Scott system fitted (inc centre pipe). Rather than shell out and buy the Hayward downpipe i was just wondering are the cheaper ebay ones any good?

Is anyone running one? this is the one i'm looking at.

Also i have a Ecutek remap any ideas how much the tweak to the map will cost to allow for the downpipe?

Depends on the company. Some are very poor others not bad. I bought a cheap manifold for my non turbo and was a poor fit. Also bought an aftermarket standard cat from euro parts and the mounting for the gear box wouldn't link up.

Sounds hit and miss then, that one is at least £150 cheaper than the H&S one. Any ideas on how much it would cost to change the remap accordingly?

Unless you can get a mapper to just tweek the original map, then its a full remap. They can cost £200+

Contact Japspeed for a cheap down pipe, or post up a wanted advert for a used downpipe.

Personally I've given up looking for a reasonable priced Downpipe for a hatch, so I've asked the Subaru specialist to supply one of many other models he has if he can make it fit, luckily he's great at fabricating so I know I'm onto a winner.

The ones I had seen are the Ebay unbranded ones, Scoobyworld I think it was, and RCM.
