New To Sccoby's Any Advice Appreciated
Hi Guys
This is my first real attempt a a Scooby and I don't have a Scooby. Had/still got lots of JDM, EVO GTR34/35 etc!
Anyway I have bought this immaculate and very clean WRX STI, seems to have some nice spec and a recent Jap Impirt with no signs of being used in the rain!
I will look to develop it a little further and aporescoate any ideas or thoughts
Spec:
HKS intake
HKS bov
Oil catch tank
Carbon air ducting
Alloy radiator
Endless 6 pot brakes front
Greddy Titanium exhaust
Oil catch tank
Adjustable coilovers
Hid kit
Carbon Bonnet
Carbon rear vlance/diffuser
Roll Cage
Sparco drivers bucket seat
Momo course steering wheel
Racepack stack dash
HKS EVC6 boost controller
Rear sub frame brace
Enkei PF01 Alloy wheels

Yes just been imported and mapped to run on V Power, Streamline Garage who have been dealing with BIG builds and imported tuned cars for 20 plus years.
I got the car through HJA and have to say the condition is like new, not a flake of rust anywhere. Are the engines strong on these, its currently running 1.0/1.1/1.2 bar boost,I've been told it could go to 1.4 or 1.6 but don't know much about them?
Yep EVOS are good 1x Tommi Mak and 1x full nut and bolt re build 450 BHP 6RS,Teg type R is also a Turbo running 450BHP
Would appreciate any thoughts on next upgrades, should I go forged and what do these easily run at ?

Cheers guys, took the car out tonight and used 1.2 bar and have to say this car feels like its got circa 450/500BHP. We don't actually know if the engine is built or not as there was a lack of info from Japan when the car was imported. Need to stick it on the Dyno at some point. There is no way that it could hustle down the road like it does carrying that weight with 300-350HP?

That rear end is ****!
Being an import it will have a twin scroll turbo which reduces lag, could be why it feels quicker then it is.
First thing I would do is get it to TDI (Near Lakeside) and get it on their hub dyno to see what power it is actually making.
As others have said, get rid of the boost controller and get a custom map to control everything.
Enjoy driving it for a little while. If it feels quick enough at the moment then maybe start with suspension upgrades. Anti roll bars, anti lift kit, high castor wishbones. Hell you could even go for tubular sub-frames.

Well that rules that out then, just can believe how a reasonably stock car that's heavy feels so responsive but I'm not complaining! It's not like I'm not used to power as my last R34 was 720ATWHP
