No doubt it's a cracking car, but given how far away from a subaru impreza it now is to my eyes it's more of a custom built race car than a race converted Impreza.

It's safe to say it's no longer a standard Impreza.

I think AF might revert to a standard 5 speed box as they give faster 1/4 mile times👍

I think it's a shame he's gone so far away from what it started life as. Moving away from an impreza engine was bad enough but now it doesn't even look like an impreza.

It's still a Subaru engine in a Subaru car essentially though. But now it's able to do 1/4 miles in the 7s.

The fact it's not an impreza engine doesn't really bother me to be honest, because it's still Subaru powered. If he was using a yank V8 or something like that then I would be less interested and it would be less of an achievement IMO.

When you start trying to get a car into crazy drag times like this then grip and bodywork play a massive role in pushing tiny tenths.
