Handling Mods
I'm thinking of a few suspension/handling mods, and so I'm wondering if anyone has experience with these and/or at least one. If you do, let me know how the car felt afterwards!
Whiteline Heavy Duty Steering Rack Mounts:

Whiteline front and rear uprated drop links:

Would all of these leave the car feeling a lot tighter? How do you feel with these mods?
I'd be interested to know also what people have done to improve the handling of the car.
Cheers!

I guess I would like to improve the general turn-in of the car and improve the roll/rigidity if I can without doing coilovers.
I have a 21mm rear ARB and RB320 suspension so far, so I think the uprated drop links and steering rack bushes would be a good start. Then a rear strut brace to finish up to help with the roll at the rear?
The front drop links won't fit either. Any where I can get uprated drop links for the 05 STi?

Personally, I've found the OEM droplinks to be adequate for the job.
If you plan to upgrade to coilovers can you let me know? I'd take the RB320 suspension off you.
More caster would help with turn in.
What alignment settings are you running do you have a printout?

I don't have a printout no, sorry.
I would actually just like to improve the rear roll if anything. I believe the steering was improved on the 2005 and onwards, so I would just like to concentrate on the rear if anything. Any suggestions?
I have a 21mm roll bar at the back. Is it worth going to 24mm?

THIS!You have had a lot of advice of how to improve certain areas of your suspension set up,but first thing that I would do is get a proper suspension four wheel laser alignment ,and see how the car feels and drives after, then you can work from their once you know that your cars geo has been set up 100%.Going from what your saying about less body roll I would go with a thicker rear anti roll bar first, but as above try adjusting the one that you have and see if that stiffens the body roll up for you.Suspension settings I find to be personal as the car has to be set up for your driving style and comfort no two cars will ever drive the exact same.SJ.

I've fitted those steering rack poly bushes, and I'm really happy with the result. For £30 worth of parts and a bit of time fiddling under the car it's made a great difference. It's not transformed the steering, but has made the car feel much tighter and newer.
Is yours a 2005? I've heard the steering is different on 2005 blobs compared to pre-2005 so not sure if it's worth doing on my 2005 widetrack.
