For the money they're asking this could be a steal or a horrendous money pit.

I'd say its more 'WRX' type of car and power than STi .

I think it looks to be a bargain on the face of it. It needs a good long look at before parting with cash though.

The "chrome" trim is pretty nasty, but at that price you could spend some money getting it looking a bit more subtle. Not sure what the truth is about how similar an "STb" is to the STi, suspect it might not be just the seats and suspension that are different.

For £1500 you could even rebuild the engine and replace the suspension and still not get to the price of a good FSTI.
Or have I been watching too much wheeler dealers?

The early SF automatics were basically an STb with dress up kit.


The later SF STi II M (manual) had a few improvements and STi parts
