Default Sorry guys but whats it worth

Hey guys,

After my engine failing in my old wagoon I have found this ebay item number 192110363906 on ebay. I was after a blue wagon and it has ppp so it looks good. Whats it worth though? It sounds a bit steep to me.

Cheers

Dan

It is very steep for a bog standard wagon with PPP, OK history but not a very descriptive advert.

Questions to ask -

Do the subframe or wishbones have corrosion?
What tyres are fitted?
Who did the cam belt?
Was it a full belt change including pulleys?

Give them a call or PM

That looks a pretty good example and it's had some money spent on it. I've also got a wagon with ppp, so I'd say that's a good price.
Like trooper says, history is important and cars of this age will start to have corrosion issues.
I'd also check the brakes for binding/seizing and rocker cover gaskets. Apologies if I'm telling you stuff you already know.
is this the ad?

Looks OK, and about the same mileage as mine had when I bought it in 2014, for £3600 (also a PPP from new, with replaced clutch and recent cam belt).

Is it near enough for you to go and check it out in person?

I'd offer £4k and see what happens...

It's almost worth selling mine just for those seats!
Any idea what you're going to replace it with?

hopefully another Scooby so the front seats will be going back to the standard SL leathers...I don't think I could part with them anyway and might have to be shoe horned into my next car!

Nooooo! You've done so much to it, I don't think I could contemplate selling it. Depends what is tempting you away I suppose...

This one looks a better buy OP. Doesn't have PPP but that's hardly worth paying extra for. A custom remap will give much better results.

Whatever you get, start a thread. Your old one is one of the classics.

I think even 4.5k is steep - I got mine around a year ago with 89k on the clock for about 3.5k

The Bugeye STi wagon is worth more without the front end conversion. The wings are completely out of shape with the rear arches. In that state it is not worth the money.
