cant seem to get into my account on scoobynet no more
i cant find any page with any "email me my password" help either

i also sent an email to webmaster@scoobynet.co.uk aswell
i have just created this login to post to ask what i can do next .

my login name was adn hopefully still is "MikeyBoy"
and the email i registered it with should have been mike_ryder77@hotmail.com
is there any way either yourself could have a quick look and maybe mail my original login/passy to me

go on reply on this thread and type your old username then click " Forget your password?" you should then get an email

i only get an email with the password of the new account i set up though

i am sure i registered with this email account originally though

have you got access to any other email accounts? have you used any other computers to login to scoobynet? the cookies remember your password so if you have used another computer try that.

not used any other computers for scoobynet recently
and i wouldnt have registered for anything using my work account

try the work account and see. Nothing lost I suppose I just did it for me and it gave me all the accounts for my email address

right i just created another new account called "12345"
and when i clicked email me my password, it mailed me the ogin/passy for both accounts i registered just now !
so by the sounds of it my other account is deleted or i MUST have used a differant email ! oh shoot

also it wont let me register "MikeyBoy" because it already exists !!

Check your email.

Somebody else can requested your password ... as long as you have got the right email address. I just requested yours to go back !

Your email address registered under that username is a hotmail account.

Obviously I cannot tell you what it is, but it is not the same as your current profile.

The password is an automatically generated one, so not the ones you mentioned in your email to me.

Unfortunately I cannot set your email address to something else, as it is the only means of authentication we have to prove you own then account.

unfortunately I can't give you the email address as it would be contrary to the data protection act until I can authenticate you as the owner of the account.

If I were you I would run through every hotmail account you have a try the password request.

Mr WEBMASTER, I too have sent you numerous emails with the same problem.
I used to use the user name "Jacko", but I forgot my password.
How can I reclaim my username???
I have changed the email address for "DJNormski" user name, however I still use the other email address for other uses. If I send my old email address for "Jacko" to you, can you reinstate "Jacko" ?

Hi

As I said in my reply to you... unfortunately, the only way to get your password is to request it through the forgot password screen.

This is a security measure so that we can authenticate you and nobody can steel your account.

This is the reason why it is stated in such bold highlighting in the profile page that you should take GREAT care when changing your email address.

When I changed ISP, I forgot to change my e-mail address in my profile. I then changed something else in my profile and, of course, a new password was sent out.....but to my old email address! Hence, now I have a new username, so a word of warning to you all.....if you change your email address through a different ISP or whatever, don't forget to change your email address in your Scoobynet profile!

i got that mail but it only contained the 2 new accounts !!
i wondered why i recieved that without requesting it

well is there anyway one of the admins can check to see what email i used then let send it to that account so i can re-use my login
