was looking for a prodrive exhaust and found one as some of you pointed me in that direction so went ahead and bought it paid using paypal as he sent me a invoice, received today to open it up to this! now the exhaust was packed very well.. this has not happend in transit this has been like this for ages by the looks of it imo and even looks like its had a repair job on it already.. what makes it suspsious to me is even on paypal he wrote
damaged item sold as seen...
the damage was a chip out of the flange.. not sure i would even call it damage tbh
well this is a bit of a pain hmmmm

what did the origional description say? if it just says chip on flange and nothing else then start a dispute for items not as described.

I know the advert doesn't say or show that damage but as above,give autotweek a call and ask for a refund/discount.
If he won't play ball then you are within you right to claim from PayPal,make sure you cache/screenshot the advert.

make sure you take a screen shot of the advert so it doesn't get deleted and you have evidence.

Sold as seen wont hold water because you were told what the damage was, not shown.

I sold one a few weeks ago for £40 and it was as new!!
hope he sorts a refund or you both come to a mutual agreement for example he gives you £50 back and you get it sorted yourself hope it works out rather than turning into a sour experience

It did look in pretty decent condition and for 69.99 wasn't too expensive I thought,looking at that damage tho it's probably worth £20 at best.
Autotweek used to be a authorized seller on here but not anymore so am surprised his ads still run.

Love the pic of the flange, they have edited it out in paint so you can only see the flange, had they not done that you'd of seen the back box, blatant bull **** there.

Take pics of the add and claim through PayPal

been speaking with autotweeks via email and have to admit he has been genuine and very apologetic about the exhaust! so refunded me in full

shame cant use this exhaust tbh as it is just scrap now

Looks like it would weld alright take it to a fabrication shop and get them to weld it.
