I know the car in question and I think a few of the lads on msoc.com....know quite a lot about it as well...!
It's had a lot of money spent on it and it is solid example that looks well and has plenty to back it up.
Might be worth emailing the clinic or calling them to get a bit more info on it!

If you prefer to buy it of the owner im sure Dean will happily sell it private, no warranty, no come backs, sold as seen..... Or alternatively buy it from clinic and get a "it breaks, we fix it" warranty!
One little incident doesn't prove a whole company especially with the history and trophy cabinets full. 99% of other companies, garden shed mechanics or FB specialists have probley done something as bad, you just don't here about it!

Hi yes this is my type r for sale.there is a full build thread to the car on msoc, under gray type r restoration under scoobyclinic if anybody is interested.kev at scoobyclinic is selling the car for me as my job takes me all over the country.if any1 is interested in the car if you message me on here i will gladly give you my number.as for the lane comment just a typical message that is not needed.scoobyclinic did all the work on my old impreza and built me this 1 from the beginning.i do not post much on this forum as you just get the trolls, but if you want to meet a geniune guy that will bend over backwards for you then kev has been that builder for me an no doubt there are others out there.so if some1 is interested dont hesitate to message me or even take a trip up to scoobyclinic and find out for yourselves what they are like.thanks dean

I've seen this car and it is a stunning example. I feel the scooby clinic comment is quite unfair. I recently had a visit there and found them to be nothing but a good set of lads who know their subarus inside out!
Agree with above comments...One incident can ruin an image.....I certainly would go there again!
