Reading through an old copy of Evo I came accross the world record coverage. In one of the published photo's you are appear to be adjusting the intercooler. I thought you claimed you didn't know how cars worked, yet you looked like a pro under the bonnet. Now tell me, exactly what were you checking? LOL

Chuckster,

I'm afraid the secret can be kept no longer.

The bonnet was already open, and I told him to poke around, looking knowledgable, for the pic. Unfortunately, we first had to explain what the bonnet was!

Not having a pop but.....

It was marketed as "for charity" and yet we haven't been given the ability to donate yet.

i told him that the intercooler may get a little warm, at which point he pointed at it and said "you mean that shiny flat thing". I was well impressed myself. LOL

His first comment upon opening the bonnet was
"So this is what the right pedal is connected to then?"
100% true. Honest.

LOL!!

The scene was quite commical.. i found it really hard to keep a straight face as it was clear to all around that I had no idea what was even under the bonnet, let alone what all the pipes and metal bits did!!!!

It should be pointed out that I begged to not have to do it!!

Thanks for noticing chuck!!!

Charity... as mentioned in a couple of recent threads, this is priority (along with search) when I get back from greece.

All the best

Simon

Cool

Oi John, there is nothing wrong with red ballet shoes !

<they only had them in red in size 49 was my lousy excuse>

Besides, Simon told me I must be talented as a driver, because of the red shoes LOL

They'd go wonderfully well with your gold alloys BTW
