Default Potential RB5 bargain

Has anyone else seen this?

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/162283306244

The ad looks genuine. I wondered if it was anyone on here?

Only as part of the optional 'WR Sport' package. Otherwise it was the regular mid level type as std.

But I wouldn't go by that car in the ad as a classic example of the breed - because it's been modified by the owner. Ergo, a STI 5 rear wing (which you were questioning); regular MY99/00 foglight covers (as opposed to the circular ones with "RB5" in red); and P1 splitter.

Same here.
Looks all wrong, spoiler is wrong, and it has fogs - not driving lights. Bit of a dog, stay well clear.

Ha, just re-read the advert.
"It was running a dream before so can only be something simple" well, fix it then.

I wouldn't pay nearly £2.5k for a car that won't move.

But, nice to know someone is going to, it means my nice clean example, that does run, and has all the correct bits will be actually worth the agreed value I've insured it for.

There appears to be a lot of **** cars coming from the Birmingham area, and I'm not just talking about Subaru.

That car had a serious impact, it must have re-shelled because that shell looks way too far gone!

The paint on the one in the eBay advert doesn't look good, I'd steer well clear.
