Thanks for the info guys. Currently up for 6k on eBay. Looking for a lovely white RA sti with good history. This ones about 4 hours away from me too. Perhaps I'll keep looking.

If anyone comes across a good example before I do I would very much appreciate a PM.

Many thanks,

Tom.

You wont go wrong with the one above by the look of it. It may not be white but you will struggle to find one thatsbjust been restored!

Check it out on this website

https://www.check-mot.service.gov.uk

The retest (16 May 2016) states 67,033 miles.

The initial mot of the year (13 May 2016) states 66,780 miles so the car was driven 253 on a failed mot with quite a few major advisories - engine oil leak, rear diff oil leak, low front brake pads and handbrake issues.
Not forgetting the mot failure issues exhaust emissions.

It's a good website to find out what's had to be done to a vehicle to make it legal.

Interesting link just checked up on my old hawkeye spec-c Ra must be dead hasnt been MOT'd since 2014 and failed due to damaged bumper previous damage to the front struts advisory looks like it hasnt been looked after very well and has been passed about a few MOT stations earlier in its life to get a pass real shame as it was a cracking car

I'm restoring a white (non RA unfortunately) classic STI at the moment - will be ready in a year!
