Cam choice help is needed
Hello every one!!
Could you pls help me in making a choice which cams to use?
In the next few days I am planning to send my block to UK in order
to complete the engine build with o-ring conversions(block-heads) and new pistons.
I am really confused regarding what cams to use...
I have a DH22 set(PIPER specs 270 dur,9.10 VL) and an LP05 set(272 dur,10.80 VL).
I am after torque without revving too high(max 7800)...
Which cams do you suggest?
Some specs:
V3-V4 cylinder heads
Billet crank 79mm stroke(JUN)
Steel con rods(JUN)
Nimonic 80A valves
Uprated valve springs
RCM vernier pulleys
wrc style exhaust manifold
wrc s14 inlet manifold
Precision 5857 cea dual ball bearing turbo with 0.63 hot side A/R V-band inlet, out let.
Tial EWG MV-SA 38mm
I will appreciate any opinion for help.
Many thanks for reading

we will machine the block for the bronze rings in
order to fit the gas rings.
I am not sure but they must be stainless.
