Its cheap as chips, if you want to just join for one month its £2.00 but you need to cancel it from recurring on Paypal.

I won't be renewing my membership, it's too easy to do a what's it worth thread, if you can't beat them, join them

Couple of months too late, not long sold these, they were mint and I had a spare rear bench as well.

Or just hijack a paying members thread saying I've got similar for sale and admin do nothing about it. As tubby tommy would say, ******!

Haha
I did actually renew this year but after to getting conned(paid subs but still got bombarded with ads! ) I asked for my money back,I had no joy from SN so had to go to PayPal and won the dispute
I've seen loads of threads over this last year about paying members getting robbed in one way or another by the greedy unhelpful internet brands!

Like Joe says...what it's worth threads are a plenty too!
Also liking the hijack idea,,,hmmm...I do have some bits I need to sell on

I believe the site has been going for nearly 20 years??
Be interested to know when it was sold out to the internet brands, who care more about the money than they do about car enthusiasts?

That said, tis still a good forum with some cracking members be that paying or not

I don't get any adds? Unless your talking about ads at top and sides of screen which don't bother me. Not sure if you need the £18.00 a year one to get rid of those. Are you using mobile site?

I did upgrade to the option 2 SN+ (£12) Jay
But as it says at the top of the forum:

Upgrade to a Plus Subscription today and get full access to the forums without ads!

Option 2 is still a plus account but you get ads. False advertising and that's why I won the dispute and got a full refund

Yes I'm just a pleb now with less room in my message box and adblocker.
And while we're on the subject of getting ripped off,,,pay £4 pcm to sell/wanted or pay £2 pcm for the same privilege!! What's that all about??

Anyway my subs money goes to support a proper enthusiast forum

I know i never understood that, i'm guessing you get a discount for joining for the year and paying monthly, and didn't think that people would cancel there membership after a month. Alot of people would forget and leave it running. As my mate did with his spare xbox account

Always thought of joining but its for JDM cars, mines UK turbo. And i do prefer the layout of Scoobynet, looks a more premuim sit.

Type RA is not just a forum but a community!
Personally I don't frequent it much these days, purely because I'm on with other stuff. But it's a great forum.

Like this place used to be until it was sold off to IB who seem to care more about cash than the community!

Very true Joe. Thanks
2 magazine articles in the pipeline this month and Rallyday too. It's not about the forums, it's about the cars & members
