Default I need help before I make the wrong decision

I currently own a gb270 wagon with a few subtle mods uprated fuel pump turbo back exhaust panel filter etc nothing crazy but I've been really thinking about owning a e46 m3. Soo my question is will I regret selling my scooby. I mean I love getting in the wagon because of the way it drives, sounds and feel and the looks I get whilst driving it but I just can't get out of my mind an m3. Soo i need opinions if anyone has owned both or what plz help

Have you looked into hiring one?

I bought my E46 M3 three years ago after selling my UK Turbo.

Smooth power delivery, gorgeous exhaust sound, comfortable quiet interior, heated electric leather seats, superb build quality and looks stunning from any angle.

There can be issues with the rear subframe, Vanos and the SMG pump is expensive to replace so I'd do my homework before buying.

I miss the Subaru burble but the M3 is a brilliant all round package.

Having owned a few e46 m3s before they are a good car but I soon got bored of it and missed the power delivery of a Subaru. My last e46 m3 was stolen off my drive without the keys so I'd recommend a tracker etc if you do get one

That's unlucky.

I thought it was the E92's that were susceptible to that type of stealing.

Unless of course the *******s used a hoist.

Unsure how they did it. Drive was open plan in a couldesac and nobody heard anything. It was found a few months later in London with different plates and a different vin plate over the top of the old one.

Those scumbags can be innovative. A mate of mine woke up early one morning to find his 350Z being hoisted onto a low loader. He enquired as to what was going on and was told his car was being repossessed as he hadn't kept up payments. This was a suprise to hin as he paid in cash. He was unable to come to a satisfactory resolution with the repo firm so called the police. It turns out the (apparently legit) repo firm had been given a load of fraudulent court orders.

A lot of new cars are being stolen thru the OBD port,
On the VAG sites one of the first mods is to remove the 15 second delay in the siren going off once activated, to limit the free time the scumbags get once they have opened your door and are trying to steal your car.
