Has anybody been to this show on all this weekend for tuned Jap cars and Fords Vw campers etc funfair for kids auto jumble etc etc show is at Sutton Coldfield near Belfry. Was going to go tomorrow but have heard it's been cancelled and negative information about it, just want to make sure before committing to going. Any information greatly appreciated.

This event was supposed to be at Bakewell and I was going to go because it's not far from me. But....

They didn't pay for their previous event at Bakewell (superhero day) and it was a total mess, nothing organized and most paying customers complained about the day being rubbish.

Bakewell banned them from ever hosting an event there again

They then denied this and said they were relocating due to demand. They said there were more people from 'down south' asking about the event, so they moved it!

Also, A lady was going to hire a stall to raise money for him, he had a fall and ended up in hospital. But they were still using a sick boys name and saying they are fundrasing for him!

There has already been £10k in CCJ's applied for , I hope the people get some money back

 

People ripping other people off on grand scales has become pretty normal though, sadly.

I'm an Event Production Manager, and the amount of hours and work that goes in to a real event is immense, probably more than those pikeys have done in their lifetime, this stuff really winds me up.

 

I know how much work goes into organizing a small meet, but a big show is on a different scale

Even when people were slagging the day off, they were getting people to post up saying 'I can't believe how busy it is' and 'the party [that was later] is already banging!'

So, even after they got slagged off they were still trying to con people into going there
