Default Struggling to get rusted bolts off? Try these



Irwin bolt grips- worked perfectly on a very stubborn caliper bolt which was not budging!!

£20 from tool station. They have a kind of rose shaped twist like this that digs in

for them to work properly you need to hit them onto the rounded head so they cut into it. Had a set of these for years, especially for turbo/exhaust nuts/bolts

My mate just hammers a size smaller socket on but, works most of the time.

But these might be handy.

Used my set more times than I can remember now and always take them with me when working on subarus away from home
