Irwin bolt grips- worked perfectly on a very stubborn caliper bolt which was not budging!!

I'm intrigued! How do they work? Are they tapered inside?

How much are they,where to buy from?

£20 from tool station. They have a kind of rose shaped twist like this that digs in

These are mega, work really well.

for them to work properly you need to hit them onto the rounded head so they cut into it. Had a set of these for years, especially for turbo/exhaust nuts/bolts

My mate just hammers a size smaller socket on but, works most of the time.

But these might be handy.
