Default ringland failier rebuild help

Hi guys im wondering if anyone can help me i have a 2001 wrx and i have suffered piston ringland failure i am planing on rebuiding the engine using standard components is there a link to a guide or manual i can use to start this and maybe a list of components that i will need to change not going for big power pretty much standard will be fine by me chears guys

Sorry about the spelling my phone has a cracked lcd so it makes life difficult if i could get some usefull responses that would be helpfull guys ?

Best option would probably buy a long engine of Matty and drop that straight in,he always has some good cars breaking in the traders braking forum.

You have to admit it was funny

Best bet is to speak to one of the many engine builders on here, it really comes down to you budget TBH

Second hand engine you take your chances maybe a forged rebuild is the way forward?
