Back in the seat of a classic Impreza.. My old one!
I sold my unmolestered and completely original Turbo 2000 last year to help quickly raise cash for a "once in a lifetime purchase" but it fell through. I said to the guy that if he decides to sell, let me know. Anyway, last Friday I was looking through my car pictures and I sent a text to him saying I miss it blah blah. 2 days later he lets me know it's for sale and we agreed a price I couldn't refuse. It's still all original too and unmolestered
. I wasn't going to sell it to anyone who had the intention of chavving it up.
Just got back from collecting it this even and it drives as tight as a nut.
A stop at the services to refuel.... It's a hell of a lot more nimble and quicker off the line than my 9-5 Aero that's for sure (which is no slouch either) It feels great to be back in the seat. Insurance is a killer though
. Still keeping the 9-5 Aero as a daily driver.

Something wrong with my computer monitor I suspect, because it's making the front number plate on your Saab look very small and very daft indeed. Stupid computer.
Scoob looks lovely!

I had a matching small one on the Subaru which suited really well. Old owner fitted a normal legal front plate.

Round here I'd have been stopped with a plate like that before I left my driveway! haha.
Anyhow, back on track with the tread. Really lovely classic. Nice to see such a tidy standard example. You've got to be pleased with that.

I am indeed. It will rise in value if kept original and with milage kept lowish. It's on 83k miles. As much as I want to drive it, I sort-of don't as I don't like to get it dirty

Lovely car. Have you tried Gary at Keith Michaels for your insurance. I started a fresh policy with him on a classic a few years ago, think it was roughly 400 notes
