Pulsating turbo (w reg impreza turbo 2000 uk)

When I accelerate slowly it hardly does it but when I floor it the turbo pulsates.the boost gauge hits about 1.2 then drops to 0.5 then back again .any input would be great.

1.2 bar isnt standard boost, so is it mapped or modded and not mapped for mods ?

Ecu pulling boost back, as above has it been moddified but not mapped for any mods?

Yeah its been mapped running just shy of 280bhp.....only mods are exhaust

Only got a upgraded exhaust system as far as can tell oh and a dv and it's been mapped just shy of 280bhp

Cleaned out the boost selenoid and pipes coming from it right back past the t junction.wasn't 100% sure if I could tell a difference,it certainly ly isn't fixed though

Could be the dump valve leaking or opening on boost id bin it and fit the proper subaru valve.
