I'm putting an A pillar mounted rev counter in my scoob, I want to hook this one up and keep the one in the dash running, anyone know if this is a simple job.

You can grab the RPM signal under the dash - see the wiring diagrams that float around the web - ravensblade site good for your model year. It is a pulse waveform and you would need to ensure you could calibrate your meter if it does not just match the signal output. Never heard of anyone doing this.

Cool

Question is why do u wana? I was toying with the idea of having a HUD that does speedo & rev counter but surely u gain nothing from an extra dial which does nothing new on the A frame?
No offense & maybe om missing sumin but struck me as strange
