Shouldn't cost that much. Fairly easy to get to unearth. How much you been charged?

The gaskets aren't that pricey. Think there £15 or at least under £20. What model impreza is it?

Typr r v4 1998, had a quote from scooby for u £112 all in which I think is very fair but its a distance from me (hillingdon) and its dropping oil fairly fast so don't want to drive a long distance, I use to use Power engineering back in the day but they aren't the company they use to be (since my mate stopped working there many years back)
Can you recommend any closer to me as the guy I have used for the last few years is super busy

I just use local mechanic. It's not what I'd call a specialist job. And I'd wait with car till it's done.p

Full genuine kit can be bought from sprinting hare or icp but the uk v4 has 2 gaskets to choose from and maybe the same for the type R but full kit no more than approx £50 plus the sealer three bond.
