Default Peter Stevens Design ??

http://www.pistonheads.com/classifie...ar/5505043?v=b

Repeatedly says in this advert Peter Stevens designed the car ??
(The guy who helped with the McLaren F1)

As far as I was aware he did the Blobeye facelift because of how bad a reception the Bugeye look got at the time,

Personally I like the Bugeye Sti,

But if I am correct then this is actually the car deemed ugly enough that he was brought in not as the advert claims the one he designed ?

Please correct me if I'm wrong, I'm sure he did the P1.

He was brought in for the UK300. They are nice cars but contrary to popular myth they did not come with PPP as standard. Paint and cosmetics instead of the ugly stick.

For less money than PPP you could get a bespoke map and better power/torque from the tuners.

My old uk300 didnt have ppp fitted. When i put it on rollers 1st time in standard form it made 226bhp. Still love the looks of them and bugeyes in general.

That's one of the best adverts I've read.
Wasn't expecting a mere 98k though.
