Default Fmic install help and turbo blanket query

In the middle of fitting a japspeed fmic to my v2 sti ra, I'm up to the stage where everything is removed and ready to install the system, I've offered up the core to the bumper bar to see where it could be mounted and the bottom looks like the pipe work will foul on the original mountings at the bottom that secure the bumper, was wondering if anyone had any tips or ideas and also for the rest of the install,
Have used a good guide I have found up to now but as I'm using a different system and slightly different model I guess it's going to differ a bit

I've also fitted a Cdf turbo blanket but fitting it was a bit of a pain and the only way I could get it to fit was to put it over the top of the waste gate actuator arm , will this be ok and also any tips and ideas much appreciated

The blanket should go under the actuator arm

I have a V2 RA with CDF blanket and HDI fmic. The body underneath the inner wings will need be cut away to allow the bends to return into the engine bay.
The blanket is a poor fit. I cut a slot in the fibers to allow the actuator arm free movement. The blanket has now frayed and moves out back towards the down pipe rendering it useless.
I have some photos of my install at home, I will post when I return.

Got the intercooler the right way up?
Japspeed v1/v2 intercooler - connections at the top.
I did some head scratching, 'til I realised I was looking at the fitting of a later, face-lift, Japspeed kit - connections at the bottom.

Ah right, well I did try the core both ways, makes sense that the pipes should be at the top but wasn't quite sure as there were no fitting instructions with the kit,
Cheers

Cheers for the replies, I'm aware I have to cut away at the bodywork to allow for the pipe work,

My particular problem seems to be that if the pipe work comes out via bottom entry the pipe work will foul on the brackets shown in the photos that attach the bumper,

They also seem mighty close to the brackets that are attached to the bumper bar if coming out via top entry,

Quite tight with air on too but not removing if I can help it for the sake of a couple of kgs

Cheers
