I have to agree with Trigger there, it didn't really tell us anything we didn't already know. If you imagine all the rumours you have already heard then you are pretty much there. This is the new age impreza version on the RB5 (including price )

They are realeasing Thrust SSC to the public as a production car. Trouble is they are struggling with brakes and the silk on the parachutes, so release date is as specific as Gran Turismo 3 on PSX2.

Even if the document said "1 + 1 = 2", the fact that it had an embargo on it, meant that it is not for publication before that date. Makes no difference who knows about it or not.

I had to delete the press release thread because it had an embargo prohibiting it's publication prior to 23 May.

I then deleted another thread asking where it had gone and then discussing it.

Just spoke to my local principal dealer and he had a photo on his desk from Subaru UK. Apparently they refused to email it to him!

Webmaster, sorry if I wasnt clear - I agree you have to delete it as it could cause you grief. But, what I was wondering was how everybody knew about it, if it was meant to be secret ? Have dealers been talking or what, coz I've been wondering what everybody was talking about the last few weeks.

I believe dealers have already been given details of the car, spec, prices etc. so that they can confirm orders with customers who expressed an interest previously. I'm not sure if it's the press release or not, as I haven't seen either, but talking to my dealer today (about something unrelated), he said he had all the details of the car including price, but no pictures.

I would suggest that if anyone does want the full info on the car, that they contact their nearest dealer asap, especially if they are potentially interested in buying, as I guess they'll sell quickly.
