Default Spec c / JDM battery options (smaller terminals)

My 03 spec c JDM battery is a half size type so half the size of a standard car battery it came with the car when I purchessed it. The issue is the terminal connectors are much smaller aswell again about half the size of normal ones...

My battery isn't lasting much longer than a cupple of days if not used so having to charge atleast once a week which cannot be good for the sub...

I contacted a battery supplier who said there is only a like for like replacement with regards to battery, I'm just worried if I buy I'm just gonna have the same issues,

I was hoping to fit a optima or simular but they don't make them with the smaller terminals the only other option I can think of is cutting off the original smaller terminals and replacing with normal ones but this is a last resort.

Any input would be great CSF
