Default What is this sensor? Can I remove it to fit an induction kit

Is it an air intake temp sensor? Can I remove it to fit an induction kit? If so what do I do with it just leave it blanked?

Cheers

Ash

Why are you fitting an induction kit?

Unless going FMIC and possibly MAf-less, you could be buying trouble, for no gain.

I am going fmic and possibly mafless . It shouldn't need any maps etc after just an induction kit surely? I've tied the sensor near to the cone filter just in case

Looks like you got an un oiled one.... so you might be lucky. Dont see why you would bother when the panel filter will do over 400hp....

Beacause the oil they filters are soaked in get onto the hot maf wire causing it to fail then worst case if left can det the engine so engine rebuild required, all that for a pointless cone filter, stick with the stock one until you map out the maf sensor.

The cone filter shouldn't change much / ruin my engine in just a few weeks surely? Though that is why I'm askin cos you guys know better than me
