Hi all, can someone tell me where the best place is to get the square number plates? I'm thinking of doing the front and rear on my Jdm type 20. Also what is the best size to get them in?
To be fair they would have to be a fussy copper, some of the traffic offices are trained by VOSA i believe, but even they would have to be having a bad day to pull you up on that.
I've been stopped by a policeman 2days ago as a routine check, although he was a right kunt and checked all tyres etc but didn't mention nothing on the plate gave the scoob a little Snydy compliment and off he went I really did think he was gna fine me after what gaz said, but guess not and no I wasn't lucky as he had me on the roadside for ages doing his checks
[QUOTE=The Pink Ninja;11809612]I think it's also an MOT fail if memory serves lol, mine are both legal...though different size to UK ones
Nope not an mot failure and the copper was right with both of them aswell gaz, mine passed mot no probs front and back
They don't usualy say nothing about even small plates but technically your only allowed square plates on cars were there's no other option eg on the back of starlet , mr2 etc
Aaaah I get you the small writing indicates its legal my front has it but not the back I guess it's time to go back and get one made for the rear again with the little writing on should have listened to you wen I put the rear on but didn't understand why that small writing is important I had it cut off to shorten the bottom off
I wish you had put this up before GAZ "pink ninja" lesson learnt I'm off to get my back one re done
Chances may be slim of getting caught but for what it is I dont see the point, Ive had a few private plates with and without legal spacing and fonts over the years...always managed to slip the net but I play it safe these days as the cars aren't exactly subtle are they
