Probably. I'm looking to rebuild my rally car engine which appears to be an EJ20 block into a closed deck block.

I'm sure I have 2.0 cdb casings sitting at a friends garage. Been a while since I checked but they should still be there.

Alyn @ AS performance can supply and install an insert into your current open deck block. Basically just send him the block up and he returns it with the closed deck insert as per a closed deck block. Very cost effective and proven at high power, probably a lot more than you plan to run.
Having seen a few in the flesh, the quality is fantastic. Closed deck blocks are getting very expensive now.

Best bit is you get to use your current block that you know and trust the condition of. Your not paying top dollar for some unknown quantity closed deck block.

Give it some thought.........
Personally I think more people should consider this with 2.0 engines
