Hi everyone, new member from Devon here.
I've just put a deposit on this beaut -
Was wondering if one of you good people could point me in the direction of standard recirculating valves please?

Matty from MB Devolopments will have one, think they go for about £20 plus postage. You'll find his posts in the car parts/breaking for sale sections

I've seen quite a few Subies around Plymouth but I've been driving the works van!
If anyone in the local area has a guy frantically waving from a transit van then its me!

Here's one Matty is selling. I'd remove those kacky stickers first, makes it look like a GX

Thanks Jaygsi, I'm growing to love the forge bov I have fitted though..I don't drive everywhere in boost so hardly noticeable! Will keep matty in mind if my blob starts acting up though.

People keep saying the stickers are kacky to me! I've got a few jobs to do but I may just remove them if they won't leave 'unsundamaged' marks underneath!

Cheers

Default Leave them on

BEAWARE if you take the stickers off it might reveal sumat you don't wanna see or as my mate did once it took the whole paint off as it had been resprayed freshly then stickers put on he was gutted
I'd get a genuine sti spoiler with boot lid , front splitter off kas, and some twisty sideskirts it'll look sikkk pal all the best whatever you decide its your baby so only do what makes you happy there's always gonna be likes and dislikes for others but it's YOURS

That's my exact worry! Lol, I'll get a body shop to have a look at it when it goes in to have the rear bumper touched up.
I have some rust and servicing work to deal with asap before I can concentrate on how it looks though!

Also, be aware you will in fact lose BHP if you remove the stickers. This is a well known issue with Subaru. Any sticker related power loses can easily be recovered by fitting an aftermarket vent to air blow off valve, so don't worry.

I remember YEARS back buying a car from the auctions and peeling off the red detail line/strips/go-faster-stripe that ran down both sides of the car as we decided we hated the look, only to find out the car had been re-sprayed from that point downwards on both sides to hide some horrors. No attempt made to blend, nope, just whack a big red stripe over the edge of the new paint layer! lol. We soon put that **** back on and put it back through the auctions.

I wouldn't worry to much just start on small sticker, i used a credit card to lift up the edge then start to peel back slowly. If anything looks bad stop.

To be honest i'd peel the lot of regardless. I couldn't handle the embarrassment
