Would I benefit from a fuel pressure regulator newage 450bhp?
I'm curently running at around 410-420 on my 04 sti and have circa 800cc modified sti injectors and walbro ppp fuel pump. I will be having a fmic being installed in the next few weeks and wanted to know whilst this was being done would it help to have a fpr put on before the remap to help get the most out of the mods over the standard fpr? I have read modified injectors although claim to run 800cc are not as good as true 800cc injectors and often don't unless they have a uprated fpr pushing them.
Thanks
Thanks

as above, unless you had them flow tested you could be running very different outputs on different cylinders which would be a disaster for your engine - especially when seeking to get the most out of it.
i'd be inclined to save the FPR money and plump for a set of larger injectors that are flow tested - you'll get a more consistent idle as well as better returns from them over decapped stockers.

Thanks for the advice guy
Yeah i have heard the modified injectors are not favoured really but the next ones i saw were rcm ones for around £700 plus fitting. I will look in to this more....

check out the DW1000 they should do the job:

You'll find them cheaper in other places but make sure they are genuine and come with the flow sheet so you can get them mapped in properly and you'll be good to go.
