I think he needs telling it's his car and his video so his property and he can do what he likes with it as I'm guessing there are no faces in the 'offending video', I guess Mr X had a slight panic...no matter as the damage is already done as you can't defend that sort of behaviour from employees!! ....and let's be honest what are you gonna sue them for...showing what happens when you take your car to them ....it's only slanderous or libellous if it's untrue, if it actually happened there is no deformation etc...

 

if the smooth tarmac the OP refers to is public road and he has evidence to show them "thrashing ****" out of an STi pretty sure the police would be interesting in seeing the footage and prosecuting for dangerous driving.

if it was all on private land then i guess there isn't much he can do.

Hopefully if its all true he can seek legal action and name and shame the garage and hopefully its not somewhere i would be likely to take my car if that's how they really do treat customers cars.

Name & Shame the garage, could be any trader on this forum, then at least people can be careful who they take there car too, like most people on here we all take pride in our cars, and it must be heartbreaking to watch a video of someone ragging your car!!

 

He seems like a very calm guy I would of wrecked the place, like people have said would be good to know the garage so to avoid it.

 

if people are so thick they cant work out who it is from this or the other thread then it really does make you wonder.

 

The other thread is locked as can one see one post. So sorry if I'm thick but one had my car a couple of months and havent been to all the traders on here.

I know exactly who they are referring too, i was just trying to be subtle if you've ever been to the place they are hinting at then its pretty obvious based on the description of the entrance road

However if you never been there or not been in the scene for long then its quite possible you wouldn't have heard of them.

I'm not going to let on as i've not seen the footage so can't judge for myself.

I've visited them once to pick up some parts and found them quite rude and since then i've never been back. That was a few years ago now and maybe i just caught them on a bad day. But it put me off.
