Scoobies less likely to get stolen and prob cheaper on insurance with the amount of the fords getting stolen at the moment.
Fuel use too I find that Volvo 2.5 is greedy so a scooby won't seem too bad.
Put it this way my bro has an rs and I have had both on my drive I always take the scooby out. I like the look of it and the sound but not the drive in comparison.

I only live 12 miles from work which is all it will be used for anyway so I don't mind about fuel and insurance is only 300 on the st what is the best model to go for for that money see a gb270 cat d but been repaired for that money

I had a focus st2 running stage 4 with a cobra venom exhaust car sounded awesome and was fun.

Sold it and bought my widetrack blobe sti, love both cars but the sti just edges it specially in the wet lol.

I wouldn't be in no rush to buy there has been some nice cars come up here for sale over the last few months.

The answer to your question really depends on which model of Impreza you are looking for.

What a small world, we have spoken on FB recently on the Escortosis Mk1/Mk2 page, I recognise your Mk1. You posted a pic of it in a thread about my mates white Mk1 with the Impreza engine which was written off Christmas eve.

He is undecided, the damage is quite substantial.

I no longer own an Impreza although I have owned quite a few different models. I sold up and bought an Evo and never really looked back to be honest.

My pennies worth regarding this, i have the 2015 ST3 and also a V2 STI555 and in all honesty, i prefer the ST though the scoob has the sound but also values wont drop hut just rise now.

I would of waited for the RS but that was another 4 months and i didnt have the patience so the ST3 was had.

Just depends which of Impreza you want ?

A friend of mine has one and fair play, it sounds alot better than a scoob but just lacks the 4wd system. It certainly keeps up with a scoob in most scenarios though when the wet is involved, it suffers badly.

It certainly gets the more attention and a good choice
